A recurring salon gathering exploring the craft and design of classic physical games. Each edition looks at a different element, from the geometry of a table layout to the feel of cards and chips, with conversation and close observation in a gallery-like setting.
Dessert and Still Life
A recurring sketch evening pairing a simple still-life arrangement with a changing selection of French desserts. Guests draw fruit, porcelain and folded linen at their own pace, then settle into conversation over pear, cream or another seasonal sweet.
Pale plaster and ivory stone catch the light, while oak and sage upholstery soften the room. Warm pools of evening light draw the eye across the floor and into its gallery-like sightlines.
